    this album needs to be heard. 'Spanish Sahara' is the track of the year so far for me.

    I agree, absolutely brilliant album. I wasn't too keen on their first album but having heard Spanish Sahara thought i'd check it out. I think its awesome from start to finish with Spanish Sahara as the perfect centre piece.
    The only British album I think might beat it this year is the Everything Everything one out in Aug.......but it will have to very good to do so!!

    Thanks for bumping this thread. GIves people another chance to hear this tremendous album. Spanish Sahara is the best track I've heard this decade.

    Bump. Foals are unreal. Seriously. Lets put it this way. For me, they are the only band to replace pearl jam as far as constant playing everyday.

    Listen to their first album "antidotes"... and trust me.. any Matt Cameron Fan will not be disappointed. thats what got me into them. The drumming is incredible.

    The guy has such a scructural and precise approach to drumming, that its very similar to Matt's. Except its all in a dance rock aspect. If that makes any sense.
