David and Louie of Los Lobos and Latin Playboys will be playing in Seattle and Portland in June to support the tour "stories and songs". If your looking for really cool jams and live in the area check them out. I am going to try and make it to one of these shows as well need a holiday.

Nice. I've seen Los Lobos a few times, but it would be cool to see them in a different setting.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I've been seeing Los Lobos for many years....always a fun time.

There current shows have been a bit bluesy...I sometime wish they went back to playing more of the traditional music.

Awesome to know that people here dig their music. :) Yeah my guess is that they will play Los Lobos, Latin Playboys, and their current songs. The traditional music is fantastic I enjoy the Latin Playboy catalog immensely. Just recently have been exploring the Los Lobos catalog and I am actually surprised of the span of their career. Their music has been in and out of my life but always thought it is was solid. Never been to one of their shows but I can only imagine. Does anybody know of any other bands that have a similar traditional sound.

New los lobos album this summer:

Nice nod to the Grateful Dead on the West L.A. Fadeaway cover (plus they've been covering Bertha for years). First time I saw Los Lobos was in '88, with them and David Lindley opening for the Grateful Dead.
