    dude, you can get a hostel for WAY cheaper than that!
    i am guessing you are looking at private rooms!

    that hostel is 15 min walk from MSG if not less and i think its 40 bucks a night so that comes to 4 night = 160 bucks so 80 and 80 rather than 160 ;p

    gotcha, i was looking at a few before i found out i was at penn hotel, this was one of them. Some of the others that you may know have booked the big apple hostel! check that out maybe as well!

    so im staying all by myself little self in a hostel much closer to MSG :D:D

    you can't share that.. it's $36 and it's per person.
    as I said for Boston, hostels=bunk bed, not doubles you can share like in hotels.

    we stayed there in 2003 and it was not bad at all... we have a room booked there now but things could change since that was 5 years ago


    it seems the people saying to not stay there are not saying if they have stayed there or not?

    I am a lifelong NYer, and I have stayed here within the last 2 or 3 years.

    There always seems to be some sort of construction going on here,
    and we had issues with MOLD in our rooms, we had to request a change of rooms thrice !

    Upon the 3rd room we were so tired and it was acceptable so we just settled on it, but we checked out very early.

    Also , there NYC newspapers mentioned about 1 monthago about the outbreak of bedbugs here and other popular NYC hotels.


    I would suggest finding somewhere else, but its up to you.

    I've been there a fews times. It really depends on the room you get... some rooms are nice some are less than desireable. But if you're only gonna be there for 2 nights than it shouldn't be that big of a concern.

    Still have reservations for the Penn. Planning on staying there unless the one girl in our group of 4 doesn't want to stay there. Backup hotel is Park South, about a 1 mile from MSG.
