"Of the Girl" isn't played enough live!

Pearl Jam rarely plays it and when they play it, it's as an opener. "Of the Girl" is such a great live song! The jamming on that song is freaking awsome. Listen to Mike McCready pull some nasty leads.

Best version: katowice, Poland July, 15, 2000. Listen to it!!! You'll want Pearl jam (more specifically MIKE) to play it at each concert!!

They can also play it after the first encore or even second encore. make the jammings longer even!!!!!!!! go mike!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I couldn't agree more with you. You can also listen to the version from Salt Lake City, UT September 28 2009. Again a :o opener.

    Heading to StL with my wonderful wife :D . 10 years since we started dating, took her to Jones Beach in 2000 the night they opened with "Of the Girl". I'll never forget that opener :D BEAUTIFUL :P .
    We'll be celebrating or 5 year wedding anniversary :D right after the STL show, 05-05. Would love to hear that open in StL 8-) if anyone is listening ;):lol:

    It seemed to open a ton of 2000 shows. I went to 9 shows and it opened 4 of them.

    Would love to see it make a comeback. Love it as an opener.

    "Of the Girl" is one of the songs I'd most like to hear them play live as a "comedown" song. One of my favorites of theirs. It hits my bluesy roots, and I love the lyrics.
