Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

You cannot be serious. Most of these guys do about 10-14 hours work a day. So with there spare time they have a little fun. When I was deployed each time, we found some fun whenever and however we could. Walk a mile in there boots before you criticize.

a lot of people work 10-14 hour days. big fucking deal. i work 11 hours 3 days a week and during football season i would work 18 hour days on fridays, yet you don't see me doing a lady gaga routine, and even if i did i would never video tape the thing... and i will criticize as i see fit thank you very much...

Hahaha. Funny clip, and comment of the year right here.

Having spent a little time as a soldier, I can assure you that a lot of the aspects of military life is mind-numbingly boring, tedious and more than a little catch-22 ish. If you also factor in the age-group the typical soldier is in, the fact that they dont really have a life outside work when deployed, and the general sense of humor that can prevail in a pretty much all-male environment, well...
I'm sure they still perform their patrolling duties according to plan, even if they blow off some steam and have some fun in their off-time.

How many of those 11 hours 3 days a week were you under extreme conditions? They were having a little fun, but I guess the military are not allowed to have fun, at least in your eyes.
