I find it hard to believe...

That they haven't even considered the possibility of their 20th anniversary show. I was just reading the 'I met STONE' thread, which is awesome by the way, and the part where Stone said he hadn't really thought about it nor had it been discussed... I do find that hard to believe. Especially when 10 years ago they remembered quite well during their Oct 22nd 2000 show in Las Vegas. They know it's out there.

The question is... are we waaaaay overhyping it? And they'll do nothing? Or...

Where will it be? My guess is Seattle. It's really the only place.

    The PR push for the Ten re-release talked about releasing everything leading up to the 20th anniversary, so they have to be aware of it.

    I guess that doesn't necessarily mean the band itself has planned everything out for it though, but it would seem they would do something. Although maybe they don't do a show JUST for it? Esp if Soundgarden does a fall tour...

    I believe they are aware of it but just not making a big deal about it , i agree we are probably overhyping the whole anniversary angle ..

    This is starting to make more sense everyday. But I agree with the OP, Stone was just playing dumb. They know it.

    It might be the DVD of the Philly shows will be released as a 20th gift to the fans, I would really like that.
    Its not very far away now just about 6 months.

    It's just a number.. a number based on celestial objects.. It probably isn't a big deal to them.

    I imagine the 10th anniversary show was just a coincedence that they were on tour at the time rather then being specifially planned. They might have only realised when they booked the tour or during.
