WOW!! Eddie and Corin Tucker's version of "The Golden State"

I was on iTunes and saw this album called "The Golden State EP" and the first track was Eddie and Corin Tucker's version. Holy shit!! Their version blew my mind away!!

I also bought his version of "All Along the Watchtower" and was blown away by that. I wanted to buy the studio version(?) of "Masters of War" from "The People Speak" soundtrack, but that one is album only.

What CAN'T Eddie do?

    I've been a paid member since September. I signed up to the site in 07.

    I think the live version with EJ Barnes is better... :oops:

    the version on the john doe EP is much better than the demo version we got on the xmas single.

    When I saw Liam and EJ open for Wilco last year I got a chance to chat with them inbetween sets. I talked to EJ about how amazing I thought her verison of Golden State was after seeing it in Tennessee. She was so humble and gracious. I told her the same thing about her "Helpless" duet from the second leg of the tour at a previous show. She told me she just couldn't believe it at first that Ed wanted to sing with her. I believe she said, "I'm just the girl who sings with the guy who is the opening act...really?!"

    Yes - they are awesome that way. I couldn't tell if they felt awkward or not talking about it, but they seemed genuine.

    BTW- so jealous you got to see Liam/EJ AND Wilco... those shows were not near here. That's almost as good as Liam/EJ + EV!

    +1 for EV + EJ...their version of Golden State in Memphis last summer was so awesome!! I've heard both but just really love EJ so much.
