Was filling out my "shows attended" on the brand new touringfans, and it just dawned on me that May 3 Kansas City is the 7 year anniversary show of May 3 State College show! I don't think they're gonna blow their load and play 3 hours and 20 minutes on Monday since it's the beginning of the tour and not the end... 
But it is still pretty cool that they fall on the same day.
State College was the first concert that my now-wife and I attended together (even though we'd been Pearl Jam fans for years and had been to many shows on our own, it was the first time we got to go to one together). We had been dating for almost 2 years at that point, so it was kind of a special concert (in addition to being STATE COLLEGE).
Now, Kansas City, I also just realized is also going to be our first show together since we got married.... first time since 2006. Not a big deal, but kind of cool!
"If you're willing to stick around, we're willing to make this the longest concert in the history of Pearl Jam."
