  • Are there audio samples anywhere?

Or are people just blindly buying what could be a horrible album?

I know how could we spent 10 dollars without hearing them first from Pirate Bay or a sample from amazon. See before the internet and song samples people actually bought albums and listened to them with the artwork for the first time and expirenced it that way. Try it sometime it's kinda fun.

Thus why the internet rules and old times sucked balls.

Is there at least a print review that gives an idea of what these songs sound like? I'm sure they had printed material back in your day, old timer.

go listen to the skateboarding scene in "picture in a frame"... the background music is one of the songs off of the new album... its rockin... jeff has said this is a rock album and doesnt do all the eastern inspired stuff that three fish had done... we all know jeff knows how to rock... we have all heard jeffs song writing abilities with PJ, MLB, GR... what more reason does a true fan need to buy a cheap as FUCK album... also it doesnt hurt just to financially and emotionally support someone you consider a friend after sharing nearly 2 decades of music with... allthough financially theyre probably not making a whole lot off this... it could suck and i would still be glad i bought it just to encourage the boys to always try new things... its that freedom that has and will keep PJ going much longer :D

I agree with you 100 percent. I think it will be great but I would gladly pay 10 bucks just to support Jeff's efforts even if it wasn't what I hoped for. It would be wierd not to buy a solo record from one of the members of the band.
  • I missed the pre sale too... FUCK!!!

    I really wanted this.

    So now what?
  • Can't escape from the common rule...

I feel the same way. :D

    and besides.. it's $10 for pete's sakes!

3000? That's it? They're crazy. Surely Jeff must have more confidence that as a member of Pearl Jam, he can easily sell more than 3000 albums. Come on Jeff!

Guess I'm going the Easy Street route for twice as much.

edit: yes i know you can get it at easy street (more expensive) and cims stores but that doesnt change my opinion.

  • i feel no sympathy for people who missed out because they were busy considering if the album would be worth the $10... as for the people that didnt get the message in time, news of the album was up for a whole week before selling out, and it was rumored well before that... theres probably still many more standard copies through other outlets... seems it just sat on the website til people heard about the chance of getting a limited edition jeff pick

if its that important to people to have the physical thing i might consider selling or trading mine once i get it and upload it to my computer... depends what it consists of though
