If you guys have not heard this album, I implore you to do so. You will not be disappointed! I can't stop listening to it. If you didn't know, TMOE is a moniker for Kristian Matsson, a Swedish singer-songwriter who sounds a lot like Bob Dylan. His voice, which may be startling at first, is great; the amount of emotion he puts into his songs, like in the chorus of "King of Spain," is incredible. He has serious acoustic guitar chops and his lyrics, especially for someone whose first language isn't English, are all superb. Might be the best album of the year.

If you enjoy this you should also check out his debut album Shallow Grave, which is excellent as well.

    someone here (probably you) posted a link to bluebird a month or so ago, and between that and the gardner i've been hooked. he's got some pretty blatant influences but it still sounds new. his buffalo show couldn't have come at a worse time so i missed out but i'll catch the next one. it's good shit. thanks.

    Love this guy!! He opened up for Bon Iver when I went to see them in Brooklyn. He killed it! Really like the new album.
