So is getting tix for rows 9-10 mean you're getting worse seats than what you're 10C number would normally get you?

  • Hey this is my first go around with the Ten Club tickets. I am going to St Louis next week. Any idea where I might be sitting? My member number is pretty high, just joined the fan club in 08. Thanks.

I actually had that paranoid thought... what if I end up in 9 or 10, rather than where my # would put me??? I can't imagine the would put people in a lottery for tickets further back than their # would get them, though. I hope not!

it doesn't. see my above post.
they have it where if it would be worse you keep your usual seats.if you normally get 5th row you won't get 9th, however you would still be in the lottery for rows 1-2.

my son and i were at 10/31 in philly we were happy to be in the building,(true story) seats in 300 level son was geting tshirts when a lady/angel asked if me and 2 guys next to me wanted to sit 2 rows from the stage. i gave the ticket to my son and said happy birthday, christmas etc. after the first set he called and there was an empty seat and a dude/angel gave him a stub to come get me, we were right next to stone and boom. when they went on and off they went right by us. we are a on a youtube video of whip it right over booms shoulder. i think it was the fact that it was my dads birthday, he died in august, he sent the lady that hooked us up.thats my story. by the way if we get rows 9 or 10 in bristow we will s**t a brick.

I am very lucky that I am in the first 4 rows whenever I get the chance to get tix. In 98 I was in row 9 at Hartford...I found it odd but then it hit me, but obviously the seats were still killer. I had won the lottery but it put me back. Its ok. I hit the lottery in Philly 1 in 09 and had front row seats.

there was no lottery in '98. that just started in '08 i believe.

and to the OP, no, your seats will not be worse

First, sorry for complaining, I know I'm very, very lucky to have the seats I usually get. But if this happened to me, I would be upset! I don't think it's cool to put people in the lottery that would throw them back 6 or 7 rows.

Edit: I've read the posts below... all I can say is <whew>.

Ok, so if your 10c number would get you 3-8, there's no way you'll get 9-10, right? 9-10 is only if you'd normally get 11+

hah I'm sorry, I know you didn't mean it quite like this, but my mind is blown that rows 9-10 are a "paranoid thought" for you when that would be the greatest night of my life.

You're right, I was incorrect. I was at the Hartfrod shows in '96, '98, and '08 and typed incorrectly. In '08 I had third row in Camden and fourth row at MSG. When I got to Hartford in '08 I had ninth row. I didn't think much of it until after the show. I had hit the lottery and been moved back. It really doesn't matter but to say it doesn't happen...well it at least happened with me.

  • Yeah I love how people with awesome seniority COMPLAIN about 9 or 10! I got 9th row center lottery tickets for the Portland show in 09 on my birthday. What a great B-day present and a flat out amazing experience, best damn B-day present I've ever gotten and one of the happiest nights of my life.

Actually David I don't think you "won" the lottery. At the Meadows/Dodge, there are many season ticket subscriptions and 10c doesn't get access to those seats. I was talking to the folks around me, everyone in the row in front of me and the row behind me were not 10c members (I'm 70xxx), they were either season tix folks or some who bought from brokers (I presume the brokers were the season tix subscribers).
It appeared that 10c got every other row of the front in Hartford in 06 and 08. So you got shuffled back 2 rows from the lottery and probably 4 more from the season tix holders. Should hopefully not be the issue at the XLCenter.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Hey this is my first go around with the Ten Club tickets. I am going to St Louis next week. Any idea where I might be sitting? My member number is pretty high, just joined the fan club in 08. Thanks.
stub hub is selling tix in floor rows 21-the back, and the wings are about the same. seems mikes side has a lot fewer seats avalible, so either its more 10c on his side or people just can't part with mike side tix.
