So this is the first time I starting a new thread. I will be attending my first two PJ shows since 1996 in Boston and MSG 2 with my wife. We are both burners however my wife gets nervous doing so when out in public, I have to admit I am a little unsure about the MSG show too as I'm from out of state and not sure of tolerance at MSG. Boston decriminalized last year so there isn't much to worry about other the ejection which I have to imagine the band asked to security too avoid this for weed whenever possible (is this a fair assumption?). So basicly I was hoping some may want to share there war stories of burning at shows, getting it in, tips, things to avoid, anything that has to do with enjoying the music at it's highest potential. :mrgreen: I think it would make for some interesting reading never mind the value that can be had from others experiences, as well as offering my wife some evidence that I'm not the only person hopping to be token at the shows.

    I've done it at MSG, depends how close to the aisle you are, middle of a crowd, go for it. You can always go to Central Park before hand :mrgreen: grab a cab from there.

    You can smoke at Madison Square Garden, just be very careful, because there's no smoking at all inside of course, so any smoke is noticed...as far as going in it is very easy to get absolutely anything into that place ... I mean, there is no search at all ... I go there often, live nearby, and as you say am a bit of a burner too...trust me, you won't be alone at all brother
    I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

    ive been to the garden 11 times and smoked 11 times. Pearl Jam shows are probably the easiest to get away with because of the madness going on throughout the whole concert. During 2 clapton concerts ive had close calls but its a way different crowd... youll be fine just be smart

    I enjoy skinny-skiing, going to bullfights on acid...

    been to 24 shows (including both msg`s in 08) and never once had a problem, just be discreet, dont have the lighter lit for a long time and dont be obnoxious to others around you that may not share the same intrest. I always make sure to offer to people around me and usually have been taken up on the offer, even had a few beers bought for me in 08. other than that, relax and enjoy the show!!
    Small my table, seats just 3, its not crowded, its just lucky me

    I don't think this is the place to ask such a question as the Mods have a duty.......
    But having said that, I'll say this.......
    People burn in and around every show I go to, they are always descrete ( smokeless pipes help) and they always offer those around them.

    But if you see a sniffer dog.....throw it away and DON'T swallow it.
