Anyone else have the vinyl picture disc from Volkshaus, Zurich, Switzerland in 1992, called "Rockin' in the Free World"? I picked it up in, probably, 1995 and have never seen another copy. It's on a label called Oh Boy! Records.

I know what you're talking about. It was posted in The Porch section many weeks back. I'm trying to search for it, but i'm getting nothing. It must of been moved or even deleted. :| I posted a db.etree.org link to the complete setlist, but it's not showing up. Somebody posted an eBay link to it.

Funny thing about the record, is it's the exact record from this CD, using the same song list & all but using a different label now.

ps .. on the vinyl/cd .. it writes .. Even Flow. But it's not Even Flow. That's Porch that is playing. Gotta love rookie bootlegers!
  • yes! that's the one! that first pic is on one side of the picture disc, and a generic record label cartoon is on the other. thank you! i'm not crazy! i've always wondered how many of these existed....

I used to collect bootleg vinyl's year's back. Lastest new PJ one's i've seen are Eddie Sings The Blues & 5 Alive. I never seen Rocking In The Free World @ the record shop's or distributors. Anything I saw in their monthly new catalog that had Pearl Jam on it, I had to pick up @ my local record stores. I forget & I don't remember if that eBay post included how many copies were made of that LP release. It sure is, imo, one of the greatest ever Pearl Jam show's of all time. Hand's down.
  • It is a great show. The sound quality isn't fantastic. I'm not a fan of the sound on picture disc vinyl anyway, but it sounds like a cheap transfer on top of that.
