The cost of PJ vinyl

I'm kinda bored at work and curious since a lot of people seem to be into vinyl around here. I've always toyed with the idea of trying to pick up a few records and get a collection going.
So with that in mind...
Why doesn't Pearl Jam make more vinyl albums? It seems there is decent demand since people seem willing to shell out serious cash for them on the secondary market. So wouldn't the band and the fans benefit if they did some new pressings and sold 'em?
Also, what exactly do these bad boys go for? The studio albums I mean. I always see threads about them but all the negotiating seems to take place through PM. Could somebody give me an average estimate on what these usually go for on vinyl?
