There are always special guests in NYC!
Who will it be this year?
Ben Harper, Vanessa Williams, Jack Johnson, Cris Cornell, Alice in Chains?

or will there be a special opening act? besides band of horses, the second night?

    Maybe Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen will show up since they missed out on the final show at the Spectrum :lol:

    That was awesome at MSG2 when Ace came out !! I saw Ace at Nokia in Times Square last month, he was great, I love that guy!

    Can't say I was a fan of a 18th generation Ramone coming out and playing the exact same song two nights in a row in 2008. They could have at least switched it up a bit. Weren't there like 13 repeats between the 2 shows in 08?

    YES.

    WAY too many repeats - I was SHOCKED by that... just because they mix it up so well and for the two MSG shows it was almost half the show repeated.

    That said -no special guests please... we're there for Pearl Jam. I love hearing Pearl Jam - I dont need to have a lot of time wasted with special guests that 75% of the crowd doesn't know or couldn't care less about.

    I think I have seen Ben Harper w/PJ enough. Ace was cool. CJ or any Ramone is always good.

    Overall, I like when PJ join's the opening act more than when the opening act joins PJ.
