Picard. Patrick Stewart's excellent acting gave TNG a serious edge to what would otherwise be cheesy sci-fi.

Watch the episode where he is a Cardassian prisoner. I rest my case.

Adam was the FIRST to F any chick, that doesn't make him the best human. It's his fault for the whole Fall of Man thing. Way to go Adam, for causing all of our problems. You just had to eat the fruit didn't you. asshole.

Kirk would have succumbed to the temptation of eating the apple. Then Dr. McCoy would have saved him: "For God's Sake, Jim!"

Picard would never be fool enough to eat the apple.

I haven't watched enough Star Trek to reply "properly" to this thread. But it did remind me of this:

Sisco wasn't a captain, so he's out. Picard is the obvious choice. Kirk never had a battle maneuver named after him.

Yes - very hard to watch, and extremely well acted episode. Picard it is.

Except I never understood why a guy who was supposed to be from France, and have French ancestors, had a British accent. Why didn't they just make the character British?
