Is it just me, or does it seem like people over at the SG forum are a little judgemental and rude? I've never heard anyone bash other bands as much as they do. I'm sure I'll get some flack over here for being judemental cause I'm making this post, but has anyone been over there? They have that one forum topic dedicated to people how love SG but completely dislike PJ, where people are just dogging on PJ and the way things are done over here, blah blah blah. Not that it completely matters, but PJ and SG are so closely related, I don't know, maybe I expected more of a closer family of fans. Oh well, at least PJ people are cool like that!

    It's not the only forum like that. I quit Atease (Radiohead forum) a few months ago because there were huge cliques in each forum and if you didn't agree with the general opinion there was a massive witch hunt.

    The music forum consists entirely of "who likes the most obscure band" competition. Mention the likes of Pearl Jam or Soundgarden and your thread disappears without a trace within hours!

    It's a pity because once upon a time, it was a good forum. Now it's just horrible.

    I think it happens on a lot of forums.

    There have been a few bands that have been treated like that here.

    Chris Cornell being one of the chief targets for a while (I know that wasn't helped by his street team dropping in here constantly).
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    I wonder what Creed or Nickelback fans would say of this forum then!

    It's the same everywhere (here included).

    I think that was one of the few exceptions of they kind of asked for it. Not Cornell himself but the street team. I have always thought that maybe one of the reasons this is a members only forum now.

    A lot forums are like that. I browse several but this is the only place I post. I think they are all like that to some extent. Think of all the Creed and Nickleback bashing around here. Really, what's the difference?

    Yeah I agree with what everyone is saying for sure, it's like I said though, BECAUSE PJ and SG are so close, I thought perhaps the fans would also be closer as well, but I guess not lol. Creed and PJ aren't necessarily best of buds, haha. Oh well, to each is their own I suppose.
