There's something about "State of Love and Trust"...

That makes that song incredible!! To me, everything about that song is awesome; lyrics, music, vocals, EVERYTHING!! The first time I heard it I was blown away by it.

    +1 :thumbup: It's such an amazing song. The Singles soundtrack has some of Pearl Jams greatest songs!

    My favorite version of "State of Love and Trust" is the one on "Greatest Hits 1991–2003". I believe it is the same version of "State of Love and Trust" they used in the "Singles" movie itself (but different than the version that actually appeared on the Singles soundtrack album). The version from the Greatest Hits has a cool part when you get to the part that goes "but to have an empty court" sounds like a chorus of people instead of just Eddie (I don't know if other members of the band joined in or they multiplied Eddies voice or something) In any case I thought it was really cool when I heard it in the Singles movie but was bummed when the Singles Sountrack had a different version.
