Matt can make or break a live song
Anyone else feel the same? I've been listening to a bunch of my boots lately and from song to song he really seems to have the most impact on how good each version can be. Especially some songs that they play over and over each night, I feel like sometime he changes some fills and some other areas to make some versions way tighter/more rockin than others.
I was listening to one of the Camden boots and the version of Jeremy really rocked and I don't usually get into that song much.
Just my opinion :?

the only thing i can think of him "breaking" would be In My Tree, but thats not really a slam on him. that song was just made for Jack.
I am not anti-Matt, but I can give one example, he has really hurt SOLAT live.
He's a good drummer, sure, but to me, he's just kind of there. PJ isn't really drum heavy, live or studio. He just seems to keep the beat, do some fills, a solo here and there...nothing worth loving or hating, in my opinion. But I kind of like that in a drummer
I'll not lose my faith, it's an inside job today
