Seriously, regardless of one's thoughts on Global Warming, Earth Day, Big Government or Small Government....

The Earth Day festivities are not TEA Party movements. TEA means "taxed enough already", you can't be a TEA party movement and also say you are looking for big-government... he says both here, it can't coexist...

Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

He did do that in the beginning, but then he goes on to say it's a real Tea Party. Regardless, I don't get how it's a Green Taxed Enough Already Movement though. It doesn't really make any sense.

He says, he's for big government. There's nothing at all wrong with that, I'm sure it can be argued that that is a great thing... Fair enough. But, to say you are pro-government at something you are claiming to be a Tea Party Movement is an oxymoron. The irony is, I don't think he understands that.

Also, why give more credence to the Tea Party Movement if you are clearly against it?

  • Not relevant, but:

Sting shares my birthday (not the year, he's much older.) So do 2 other singers, Don McLean and Corey Hart.

    Happy Monday!

"TEA means "taxed enough already"" - maybe to you. But to a lot of people it's and has been for a long time a plant. May bet hat is what Sting is referring to. Earth Day, plants nature. The REAL tea ... but I can't watch the video at work so maybe I've got completely the wrong idea from the posts

But if not I don't think Sting is a 'dumb ass' ... he's just taking something that is topical ... and using it to highlight the issue.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
