they played at harrah's in laughlin a few years ago but i missed it due to a major tooth ache. they played this last weekend for the laughlin motorcycle run. i heard they might be doing the sgt. pepper thing in vegas again. i hadn't seen CT since 1980. they still tear it up! great show! i live on the arizona side of the colorado river, right across from laughlin. it was so close...i had to go!

sgt pepper at the lv hilton was great. they had a mini symphony, an indian ensemble (with a shankar kid), costume changes, a children's choir, joan osborne opening with can't buy me love and long and winding road, cheap trick playing nothing but beatles (not even a surrender encore), and gomez' singer sitting in on a few. and it was about $70 less than a ticket to love. if you get a chance to see it you should.

I worked backstage security for them a few years ago at a festival. It was crazy, but thoroughly enjoyable.

    Looks like a great set.

it's back....but now it's at the Paris. I just called down there.....the cheapest ticket is $90  and they go to $300+ :wtf:

maybe I'll start the "$90 is too much for Cheap Trick" thread

yeah, that's too steep. i paid $100 for 2 tickets and even then i could only justify the price by thinking it'd keep me away from the tables for a few hours. i bet paris meddles a bit and makes them play a few cheap trick songs, but i still wouldn't pay that much even if ringo sat in.
