That happened to me once too.

I saw someone using an avatar I'd made for myself from one of my favorite pictures. She was on another board and when I asked her how she got it she said she couldn't remember.(!) :P

She was nice enough to stop using it after I mentioned it to her though.

This same thing happened to me but I was the one accused of "stealing" the avatar.
I didn't log on to the board for some time and when I came back I decided to change my avatar.
My girlfriend had found a picture on photobucket a couple of years ago that I liked so decided to
use it here. Little did I know that somebody was already using this picture as there avatar.
The guy sent me a message demanding that I change it immediately...?
I really couldn't believe he would send such a stupid ass message about such a meaningless issue.
But to avoid any conflict I changed my avatar.
It`s just a picture people. Who gives a damn.

I think the difference is that these were our OWN pictures not just something we'd found on the internet.

Yeah, it's pretty boring, but even as a chalk outline you won't hear me complaining as much as... that one person.

Black Diamond once stole the avatar I was just about to upload and then he went and changed it. However, if I were to use it now, it would look like I was copying. It was the close-up of the croc with the real human arm in its mouth. I loved that pic.

Yeah, but if I used that, only comeback girl and small town beck would have any idea what the picture was/meant. Speaking of which, I still need to so something about that. Hey ladies! ;)
