I guess there won't be poster pre-sales :(

that stinks. I was looking forward to the ease of not worrying about getting one on-site

    It was announced less than a week before last time if I'm not mistaken, so I don't see why that would change. I would expect an announcement tomorrow or Tuesday.

    They didn't announce the 2009 bootleg program until the night before the Calgary show in August. Have faith people. 10C always waits till the last minute.

    I really hope that they do the poster pre-sales. It makes it easy to get a poster (no need to get there early for one) and it saves you the trouble of carrying one around for the whole show.

    Has anyone started one of the "OFFICAL" petition threads? The 10C is usually pretty good at responding to our requests.

    if they don;t have a presale they'll have 50,000,000 copies of each poster from each show after the tour anyway.

    yeah...just look at the goods section. No need for a presale or to buy it at the show. As a matter of fact, just wait until 10C starts selling them after the shows and get them for $20 on ebay.

    The pre-sales are probably to blame for so many posters left over in the goods section. That, plus the shitty economy...

    with MSG, the chances of being extras are pretty slim IMO. I was not at 2008 because I was out of town on business, but I was at 2003 and I would rather get it in advance, pay a little more, and not have to worry about it.

    I think the demand for the NYC show posters will be very high. Being NYC, there will be a heap of people from out of town and country who will attend the shows who will want a poster because of the significance of seeing the band at MSG. Some people see a show in NY - I see concerts. Ames Bros could wipe their butts on a piece of paper and put Pearl Jam live at MSG and I'd buy it for the momento.

    Most of us going to MSG missed out on 10c tickets and battled with the scalpers on TM. I hope they allow us to join the presale if there is one.

    yeah presales are awesome, you know before hand if you have to wait in line and carry that poster with you all nite or if you are having yours arrive in the mail, much more convenient, just wish those Philly boots or DVDs were available to top off the spring! would be nice if information was available as to what is going on with that! 6 months is long enough to wait without on bit of information as to what is being done with that!
