McDowell Mountain Music Festival night 1 ROCKED!

The McDowell Mountain Music Festival started last night and was great. Ruthie Foster opened the show. Then Toubab Krewe taught everybody to dance. John Brown's Body rewarded us in attendance with their killer grooves and horn section. Assembly of Dust was well worth the price the price of the after hours ticket.
Today is Day Two with: Dirty Lingo, Easton Ashe, Hot Birds & The Chili Sauce, Ryan SHaw, Super Chikan, Robert Randolph & The Family Band and then Steve Kimock's Crazy Engine performing an after hours set or two.
Then tomorrow brings us Sugar Thieves, Black Carl, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave., and the Grace Potter and the Nocturnals to bring it all to a close.

    Ive seen JBB, Assembly of Dust and Grace Potter before. They all kick ass in their own unique way.

    Thank you. Man you couldn't ask for better weather in PHX this time of the year for an outdoor festival.

    See, they're McDonald's... I'm McDowell's. They got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs. They got the Big Mac, I got the Big Mick. We both got two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions, but their buns have sesame seeds. My buns have no seeds
