Pearl Jam in Brazil - Brazilian Woodstock in October

One of the best news site says that one green/yellow bird said "Pearl Jam will be here in Brazil on October for playing on Brazilian Woodstock.

    I don´t know guy..... it will be a brazilian version.... the city that "maybe" there will be the festival... it´s soo far São Paulo....but a beautiful city..... calls ITU on countryside....where everything is bigger. laughs.

    I heard the band has a date in Seattle for their 20th anni live show. I would be surprised if they did this Brazilian Woodstock. As it was rumored many, many times year's ago that Pearl Jam were to play Woodstock '94 & later asked again to do Woodstock '99. I would be shocked if they did any Woodstock show in all these countries hosting a Woodstock show this 2010. But what do I know. I thought they stopped & agreed to not do festival show's anymore! :|

    Don´t worry guy... the dates about festival are 7,8 and 9 october..... will be pearl jam, foo fighters, smashing pumpkins, green day between others....but it isn´t confirmed yet.

    This festival if happens with all those acts would be so stacked. Would be hard not to go to it

    I heard Perry Farrell elude to international Lollapalooza events in the near future (Coachella interview). Are we sure they didn't just mess up the festival name? That would seem much more likely than a Woodstock outside of the US. Nevemind the fact that the past two were mistakes

    thats one hell of a line up they are planning on... Brazilian festivals can get pretty big and roudy! Should be fun.

    That is the same weekend as ACL, with some of those acts being rumored to be at ACL, including Soundgarden which would cause a drumming delimma. Just saying.....

    People speculate. But some are speculating, or may I say praying (nah I will leave it at hoping) a whole lot these days. It would not be a big shock if PJ tours latinamerica once again this year. They made north america tours, european tours, aus and NZ, supporting backspacer. As someone that hopes a lot, I must say I am sure there will be a latino tour by the end of this decade (2010 that is).

    A promoter just mentioning possible acts is a strong indication of this act (PJ that is) maybe nosing around and smelling the flowers in this area (latin america).

    Strong feelings spreading around in costa rica and venezuela

    My fingers, as always, crossed.

    im in Greece,and the best crowd is in South America,and for sure deserve shows there,more than everybody else :)
