Handsome Boy Modeling School - White People

    Nas - It was written

    The Replacements - Tim
    NERDS!
  • I do this all the time....pull out stuff I haven't listened to in a long time. Sometimes its just like a I remember it and sometimes I am only reminded of why I stopped listening to it in the first place. Of course there are other cases when I like the album even more than I had before....kind of like actually DISCOVERING it instead of rediscovering it

The most recent one I can think of is Faith No More 'Angel Dust'....have no clue how long it had been since I listened.....a VERY long time....but it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as I once thought it was. Still got some great stuff on there though
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

Lanegan's Whiskey for the Holy Ghost. And for that, I have PJGARDEN to thank. That thing sat unlistened in my collection for over 10 years. I'm an idiot. Brilliant fucking album.

Good call on rediscovering that one, pal. You should be ashamed for letting it collect dust :)

Masterful album. Easily one of his best in a pile of gems.

  • Anthrax... "Sound of White Noise" For some reason i was thinking John Bush era Anthrax sucked.

Pink Floyd's The Wall; I never really appreciated it until I really sat down and listened. It's fucking mind-blowing.

The Clash's London Calling; I recently got the 30th anniversary reissue. Now I realise the importance of this record in rock & roll history.

Probably my favorite Anthrax album although the rest of the albums with Bush do suck. SOWN is awesome. Check out Armored Saints Symbol Of Salvation. It's the best album Bush has ever done.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' "Damn The Torpedos." I probably haven't listened to it in 15 years, pulled it out the other day and have been listening to it non-stop. Great record!

    +1

The only issue I have with it is the weird intros to some of the songs.
