I thought this Sub-forum was for Pearl Jam music?

The Porch - Step out on the porch to discuss Pearl Jam's music, tour, appearances, causes they support, etc. It's all about Pearl Jam here.

70% of all threads is about Eddie Vedders tour. Shouldn't we is respect to the band discuss all these things on the "Other Music" section? It kind of annoys me.

I suspect that when/if there are Pearl Jam tour announcements to be made, you will be able to sleep soundly once again.

Eddie is in Pearl Jam, but whatever he does outside Pearl Jam is NOT Pearl Jam. Making the Into the Wild album has nothing to do with Pearl Jam. But we have this thread: Into The Wild On Vinyl.

I love Eddies work, but I am just saying that it is the wrong place to discuss it. It's not like we discuss Soundgarden here just because Matt was in it. What about Brad? They have a thread in the Other Music section.

And I know Eddie is the frontman of the group but Come'on!

the point is, the mods see fit to post info about Ed, his record, and his tour in the forum, so..............

its really not that big of deal.

i guess if it really bothers you that bad, you should take it up with Kat or Sea.

good luck. i hope it all works out for ya.

I understand your point, but I think it's kind of like splitting hairs.

You can always look beyond the Ed threads to find what you're looking for, you know? It's probably buried in here.

You are definitely right about that, but we can't have anarky? Now can we? There are certain rules I guess.

I just want little less conversation and a little more action. To much talk about Eddies tour.

    Maybe it's because I can't be on it.. :/

No anarchy? Action but not conversation?

You DO know this is a message board, right?

Moderation ain't gonna happen on the weekends, anyway. You'll need to take it up with the admins on Monday morning. In the meantime, just go with it. Lots of Bonnaroo chatter and McCready is a Badass Mofo talk to engage in, if you search for it.

Anything the band members do, professionally, is by proxy related to Pearl Jam.

Besides, there's simply no need to be so anal about it. You're getting worked up about nothing of great importance.

I am not getting worked up for this. I just don't think that Eddies recent work has cast a pretty big shadow on the band Pearl Jam. That's all.

I love the fact that Eddie is going solo for a while, but If you read the description of this sub-forum it states that this is about Pearl Jam. "Discuss Pearl Jam's music, tour, appearances". Into the Wild is not Pearl Jam music, tour or appearance.

But I guess democracy rules. If you all think that we should still discuss things that doesn't have to do with Pearl Jam music than it is alright by me. Maybe just a slate change of the description notes.

    Rock on!
