I was hoping 5/18 would be in a city far enough away from me that I woulnd't have to consider it, but....

Ok, so I am all set to go to MSG I and II, including hotel reservations. Coming from PA, Newark is a little closer, I can drive there and back same night. I guess the dilemna is spending more $, fitting it into a work week, son has a track meet that day...etc. But it is soooooo tempting!!!!!!!!!

what to do?!
what to do?!
what to do?!
what to do?!?

I live in NYC and my wife and I are attending both msg shows and planning on newark. You can crash at my pad after newark if you need and check into your hotel the day after. Especialy if I dont get through tomorow and you have an extra.

I know, I know... part of it is that I had a lot of shows planned this summer (and a lot of $ spent) before we knew PJ was going to tour, and with my family situation (already jumping through hoops for MSG shows) it just makes it difficult.

not really a dilemna, but knowing I could go but deciding not is real tough - but in a good way.

you will regret it when they dont tour next year

me, I cant sit at home when PJ is playing within driving distance

only a medical or family emergency keeps me away (and perhaps one or two family commitments-but luckily my kids are still young)
  • No doubt I'm going....I work two short blocks away!

There's a two hour delay for members who have tickets to MSG, they'll probably be sold out by then.

    In all fairness,
if youre able to drive to Newark and then home,

you could do the same for MSG.

In an effort to provide more tickets to our fans who were unable to secure a pair to either of the MSG shows, for the first two hours the pre-sale will be restricted to members who do not already have MSG tickets. At 12 noon Pacific time this restriction will be lifted should any tickets remain in stock.

If I was able to go (hoping & praying I can!!) I'd probably come from Penn Station >> PATH train to Newark
Just was wondering: is the Prudential Center near where the Newark PATH train station is?

It's within walking distance, about three blocks. There's also an indoor viaduct connecting the train station to the building.
