Since they just opened the last show at MSG 2 w/ Release your theory should be but to a good test on Friday. I'm thinking maybe getting back to Oceans or Sometimes which haven't opened since Fla. All I know is I don't care because I'll be at my 1st show of the tour and I'd be happy if they opened w/ freaking Bugs (now wouldn't that put this board on it's ear!)!

ha that's right, it was played last night as the opener
well good then, as much as I love release as an opener, I would die for Long Road, have not gotten that one at any of the shows I have been too

I dreamed I was gonna win the ticket lottery at MSG last night and I did. So believe it and it will happen
So, if "we think really hard, maybe we can stop this rain".
This will be my 42nd show, and all of your analysis is correct, it's probably Last Exit or Severed Hand or Wash or Go (the first opener I ever did see). BUT ... it's about damn time to shake things up, don't ya think?
I got in my car once and hit shuffle which started off with Breakerfall....I always thought if the were going to open with an uptempo song, this would be great.
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

I wish, because I love Setting Forth, but it's not gonna happen

how about:
1)Sometimes
2)Hail Hail
3)Who you are
4) In my tree
5)Smile
6)Off He goes
7) you get the idea
My first PJ show was Hartford October 1996 in support of No Code. What a night that was and the opener was Who You Are.
I was really hoping for some Into the Wild on this tour but sadly not happening. Such a shame for a few of those songs would work with the whole band.

Point of no return
Go foward in reverse
This I will recall
Everytime I fall
Ahh-oohhh
Setting forth in the universe
Ahh-oohhh
Setting forth in the universe
Out here, realigned
A planet out of sight
Nature drunk and high
Ahh-oohhh
