Strange, pretty warm today and has been for about a week now.
Normally it is cold by now.
There are plenty of dragonflies flying around outside.

We've already had 4 days in the 80s here, early spring in Chicago, which is rare this early. I actually saw a few dragon flies this weekend which is also rare this early.

I hate them, they always tend to chase me, aggressive things.
How about the thunderstorm tonight? :D

these are my summer buddies, they sit on my toes as we float around the pool. They watch me with their big eyes and cock their heads at me when I tell them about the weather and the anole.
I love dragonflies, they are a wonderful addition to the garden

That is a very cool picture. I love how dragonflies blend with their surroundings, I guess for protection. In the summer the blue ones hang out by the pool which is blue and my floatie is blue. Then the green and black ones like the ponds. I'm seeing the big big brown ones now passing through.
They bite cause they eat that way but they don't land and bite people at least that would be unusual. You would have to try to capture one which is not nice anyways. Don't be afraid they are our friends and are very entertaining to watch, especially up close.
I love the idea of hanging the wash out, my Mama did that I remember the smell. :)
