May 18th is at Mohegan sun!

I'm not 100 percent yet but pretty damn close. I heard over a month ago it was going to be at Mohegan but there was a wnba game that night. This weekend I heard it was back on at Mohegan so today I called around some people I know and it's not booked but reserved and now there is no wnba game on for that night. I do work there so that why I'm pretty sure. Now I just need good tickets.

    This would be awesome!!! Mohegan Sun is only about a 30-40 minute ride from my house. The venue is smaller than the TD Garden so it would be easier to sell out on short notice.

    That would be terrible. Although I do want a May 18 date bad, and being from CT i want another in CT so badly. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, mohegan sun is a terrible place to see a concert. I've seen 4 shows there and each one sounded bad. Accoustics suck, plsu the crowd sucks seeing that they give the floor seats away to the gambling community that is not interested in seeing any kind of concert. I wonder how that would work with 10C tickets.

    I'm betting no fan club seats. I remember a few shows in the past 8 years or so that did not have fan club tickets because the show was added after the fact. I myself have been to at least 10 or 20 shows at Mohegan and it's a very nice venue but sometimes the acoustics are not that good although they have gotten better in the past couple years. I really want the show at Mohegan. I will pass the 50 show mark on this tour and driven anywhere from 1 hour twice to see them to the other extreme and flown coast to coast to see them 3 times. This would be the ultimate for me to drive 15 minutes and have a chance at good seats. I hope I am right.

    When are these far fetched rumors going to end? I have never ever seen a business as secretive and disrespectful to it's customers/fans as Pearl Jam management is. Can they not see people are practically begging for information? Even if they can't 100% confirm at least say SOMETHING about it. It has been TBD for how long now?

    bump...for chrissakes, just say something Ten Club. What's the big deal? There are some of your members who do have to plan for these things if there is going to be a show. If not, fine. No big deal. If maybe...great. Say something vague just to kill all the BS crap. If you can't say anything, then just say that. We are your customers...just give us some message.

    I know some will say this is whinning/bitching and I can see that. And in some ways, I suppose I am bitching. That being said, it's asinine that they won't say SOMETHING.

    Yeah I'd have to say that if its going to be somewhere else it would have been on sale already.

    I know many think the Garden is out because its a month away, but I think its either that or somewhere really small or nothing. If its going to be another arena there is no sense in waiting - and the crazy thing is that scheduling-wise we might not know anything for weeks with the Garden. So who knows... but they'd gain nothing in waiting if they're going to have it somewhere else anyway.

    I just don't see how that helps anybody. Why would any company make an announcement that they have nothing to announce?

    because it's their/PJ's fault we're even having this discussion. They know we're all crazy and TBD is going to drive us nuts (some of us). I guess I just want some acknowledgment from them that the TBD thing is making some of us nuts.

    That being said, at the end of the day, it ain't that big a deal and life goes on. But in this little tiny part of my life, it's a big deal and think they should just say something.

    the last thing they said was "May 18th - TBD" ... so that still stands in my book

    and allegedly someone called last week and was told there was no further info

    it cracks me up how all these threads are created yet only 2% of the people have the balls to call and ask

    i do agree 1 update would be nice somewhere along the way... but as they've stated before... they're a small operation doing the work of what used to be something much bigger

    and now it seems like they're coordinating every single side project ... incl soundgarden

    so... here we are

    Right but what work do you think that entails? A few PJ and Soundgarden tshirt orders a day? Processing some new memberships and renewals? I don't think the 10 Club scheduled the Showbox show...I would imagine the management company would handle something like that. Working on the X-Mas single? And you say every single side project like there are 50 of them. They aren't dealing with Jack White. Parl Jam, Soundgarden, Brad.

    I'm sure I missing stuff that they do and I'm not trying to portray them as lazy or bad at their job but my point is, you can't blame the lack of info on them being overworked. They have the time to lock stupid threads so they have the time to respond to threads looking for info. But as stated before, I think the issue is the management company/band not letting them release info.

    I think this is a very fair statement on all parts...
