That is exactly what I told my 11 year old... How funny...She is insane for Bieber. Insane! She says to me, "Momma, I really want to see Justin Bieber in concert. Pleeeeeaaaase?!" I say, "Really? I want to see Pearl Jam in concert." "But Mom, come on, how many times have you seen Pearl Jam in concert? A million."(with an attitude, naturally) I say, "No Mad, not a million. Just 35 times. & if you don't leave me alone, I'm gonna take your brother to my 36th PJ concert & leave your ass home to listen to your JB cd." Enough said....

Honest, I hadn't even seen this guy until about 2 weeks ago. What is happening to the world? He's a talentless ladyboy. Why do girls like such an effeminate guy?

I may get some flack for this, but suddenly I feel the terrible urge to defend this Bieber fellow.

Sure, he's poppy and mushy and young and has a weird haircut, but I don't think he should be put down quite so harshly. From what I gather, he's largely involved in writing his songs (always a good thing) and, let's face it, he can sing.

The first time I heard Baby, I thought it was a girl too. But so what? Lots of people thought the middle brother in Hanson was a girl. Not just from his voice, but from his looks too. :P But to say Justin Bieber is girly or effeminate is pretty silly. (No offense.)

Lots of young kids (girls mostly, I guess) like him. Who cares? They might like someone else next week, or still rock to the tunes of J-Beebs ( ), but what does it matter really? Someone mentioned the Backstreet Boys and gosh darn it, I liked them when I was younger.

I had lots of awesome points to make, but a phone call messed up my thoughts.

Aaaanyway, what I'm trying to say, bashing an artist you don't like (and don't know much about even) is pretty useless. This goes for Bieber and anyone else really. It could be argued that this post is useless, but this is just how I roll. I think..

Oh! Just to add.. I had MTV (MTV Finland, to be more accurate) on the other day and they were counting down some list, mostly r'n'b stuff. And I can honestly say that Justin Bieber's U Smile was one of the better songs on that list. Not mind-blowingly good, natch. But it wasn't bad. Compared to songs by the likes of That Guy Who Did That Song With Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown, Bieber's song was actually.. Well, it didn't bore me to tears.

This is generic model. Model 'Justin' is based on Timberlake prototype, and, gosh, those things last forever.

bieber is not the first to have that little boy, sideswept bang hair cut. Pat Mcgee has had it for years. Last time I saw Pat, he had an outgrown buzz cut and I'm sure it was so ppl would not call him JB!
