Has anyone seen Kick Ass yet? Just saw it today and thought was great. It was a little different than the book, but stayed pretty true. Hit-Girl was awesome!

I saw it Thursday night. I enjoyed it a lot. Hit Girl reminded of of "The Bride" in Kill Bill. I didn't care for Big Daddy though (not a Nicolas Cage fan at all). Not sure how it was compared to the comic, but my one friend said it was pretty close. Thought it would do better box office wise though. Came in second behind Clash of the Titans.

down here theres been a bit of hoohah about the violence, which made me laugh. and whether it was apropriate for the under 15s. its been hit with an MA rating which means 15-17 yr olds cant see it without adult supervision. it also means i cant take my extremely well adjusted 11 and 13 year olds.

i thought the premise of geek boys wondering why no one tries to be a superhero very cool. casue lets face it we all someone who has jumped off the roof trying to fly.
