Do they ever let people in for the soundcheck?
2006: Hartford
2008: Camden 2, Hartford
2010: Hartford
2013: Wrigley, Worcester x2, Hartford
2015: NYC
2016: Philly 2, MSG x2, Boston 2, (TOTD Philly 2, MSG)
2018: Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Boston x2
2022: San Diego, Sacramento, Las Vegas

    All the time - just asked nicely.

    depends..usually they way it gets spread is because you can hear from outside

    sometimes if you know someone that works in the venue they can get you in for it

    or sometimes you can sneak into the venue like some of us did in perth in 06.

    how long before the show is the soundcheck usually?
    mid afternoon?

    Maui '98 was a very cool one for us. We just happened by to check on the venue and it was like a mini concert. Good memories. :)

    The official answer is: Outdoor shows, you can hear from the parking lot.

    Indoor shows, you have to get lucky. I listened to Off He Goes during a soundcheck at Reunion Arena in Dallas by pressing my ear up against the doors. (yeah, I know, it sounds stupid).

    But they aren't just going to open the doors and let you listen to soundcheck. It's not like batting practice at a baseball game.

    Doesnt sound stupid at all......Have done it many times...Have even tried holding a cup to the door! :D
