STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT PJ

This message goes out to every 10c member who has a complaint about ticket prices, where the band plays (or doesn't play), problems with seating and any other Bull that some of you people come up with.
Can you all just RELAX? I mean, look at all the great bands in history - so many of them collapsed due to drugs, egos, women, disinterest in music, etc, etc.... PJ has stuck around for almost 20 years now, and they are still dedicated to contributing positively to music and the world community.
So if they want to charge $75-95 for a ticket, that's their prerogative. Maybe they are selfish, but maybe they want to pay their crew a little more or make a little extra cash to cover some other cost. In either case, who cares? What other band plays for 2+ hours AND puts their entire heart and soul into each performance, no matter how mundane or repetitive those performances may be for them? NOBODY.
Sometimes I come on and read these posts and feel ashamed to be part of this community. I love this band, they've given more to their fans than any other artist in this industry and I think those people who complain about them should be grateful for what they have and stop their bitching.

I didn't know Quorn makes veggie-bacon. I love their veggie chicken.

Yes, you can get all sorts over here. They've kind of gone a bit mad on the flavourings though. They've started to try too hard to make things taste meaty and it ends up tasting revolting sometimes.
Gross... :P
...is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?
Hush now, I know it's just cos you want some!
Bacon is one of the harder things to have a veggie version of. Morningstar's are pretty good, but still not the same.
Veggiedogs by Morningstar were great and indistinguishable from the real thing, but for some reason discontinued. http://www.morningstarfarms.com/veggiedog.aspx There are other veggie ones, but these were the best.
Italian Sausage by Boca were great especially skilleted with onions, but those too were discontinued.
Morningstar Breakfast Sausage are really the best thing from any of them. Second is the Morningstar Chik'n Patties (italian seasoning too).
...and for the last month, I've been having veggie balogna sandwiches every day.

Probably use the mince more than anything, just chuck it in loads of stuff.
Perhaps a new thread title is needed 'the bacon and pretend bacon thread'
wilco and my morning jacket to name a couple of my favorites. but there are many others out there, and most of them charge $50 or less for a ticket. i saw wilco twice on this last tour. paid 20 bucks to see them in scranton and they played 38 songs which lasted over 3 hours. anyway, you are completely wrong with this statement. i love pj, but there is no need to come here and make ignorant statements to justify their surge in ticket prices. especially given their former stance on ticketmaster. a bit hypocritical of them, and backlash should be expected. personally, i can still afford to see a pearl jam show, and it's worth it to me...but i still think it's ridiculous.
turkey bacon can't cut the mustard...veggie bacon can't even sniff bacon. I get sides of bacon with my bacon\
mmm bacon
