Stairway to Heaven Cover ???

Just been listening to Stairway to Heaven and realised that it would be so out of this world rock n roll if Pearl Jam ever covered this !! Imagine Eddie singing

    please no, i agree with the gentlman or lady who says its their least favorite zep song...
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    Sweet. I don't think it would be the best choice for them to cover. Not sure how Eddie's voice would fit in with it. But, then again, it may rock really hard.

    I love The Rover. Think Stairway is great and don't let outside factors influence my opinion of it. it's the fourth song on the fourth album. and I HATE Custard Pie. one of the only Zep songs I truly dislike. which sucks because it opens my favorite Zep album.

    I'd like to hear them cover What Is And What Should Never Be. I know it has been done by Black Crowes, with the man himself, Jimmy Page, but I would like to hear Ed singing, Mike wailing on that solo. Jeff would dig the funky ass bass-line, Boom could rock out a bit. Stone and Mike could rock the bridge with two guitars and I'm sure Matt would have fun pounding some drums.

    I think Dancing Days would be a good cover for them to do. That would sound great coming from mccready, plus his improv solo would be sweet too.
