Record Store Day - HELP!

so I have no record store near me....is there any one heading out tomorrow that would be willing to try and pick me up the Bruce Springsteen record? PLEASE :)

    don't mean to hijack the thread, but i'm in the same boat - too far from any real record stores. if anyone is bored tomorrow and can get their hands on the peter gabriel / bon iver 7", i would be totally grateful. let me know...

    Hello all,

    Anyone over there in the USA kind enough to pick me up the MUSE release and post over to the UK?

    It's a USA only release (despite UK getting involved in Record Store Day and MUSE being a UK band!!!! :( ) and I'm one of those compulsive collector types. You know the sort...

    So yeah. I'll cover all your expenses and throw in some extra so you can pick yourself up something nice.
    Can paypal gift the money over straight away.

    Any help appreciated guys.

    I'm looking for a little help also. I don't think my local store is going to have the Wilco box set. Anyone who is going out today and doesn't plan on buying it, I would be so very grateful if you could pick it up for me. I'll paypal the cost and shipping to you today.

    Also, to the poster above, if my shop has the Muse vinyl I'll pick it up for you.

    You can order the Wilco box set through their website for $70 w/free shipping. I bought it today in the store for $67.00. Really not that much of a difference.

    Thanks for pointing that out. I think I'll go that route. I'm assuming the set sold on the web is the same as the set released today?

    Glad to hear it... I very nearly bought the Wilco boxset for you, but I don't have an iPhone/Blackberry so couldn't check to see if you'd managed to find it. It is $75 before tax in NYC.

    Sorry... no luck. I schlepped all over the city... midtown, LES, West Village, Greenwich Village... everywhere I went they either never got it or only got a couple of copies and were sold out :(

    Thanks for trying. Luckily for me another forum member has been a HUGE help and sorted me one.

    15 stores and still no record for yourself? Unlucky.

    I have put feelers out on helpful folk on other music forums for this and it seems that it was nigh on impossible to get hold of.
    If I manage to snag another one (i asked a lot of questions haha) then I will be sure to let you know.
