Fellow fan needs good Vibes... Hospitalized and critical...

A lot of us woke up to some bad news this morning... A fellow fan and good friend has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. I just talked to his wife and things are really up in the air.
I met both of them through fellow fans and they are really nice people and good friends to a lot in the Pearl Jam community... They're new parents and both are on this board.
Him and his wife and baby boy need some good vibes sent their way! Keep him in your thoughts and prayers, please!
update: talked to him this morning and things are going well now. seems to be on his way to recovery but still in hospital! he sounded well on the phone however so that's definitely good news!

i just talked to him on the phone, he sounded well.
They got to the problem in time otherwise it would have been a different story.
He'll be in the hospital for a little while but it sounds like he is on the mend.

my father went in for a back operation on march 26th, 2010. "something" happened during the 11th hour of the surgery...supposed to be a 15 hour surgery....his back was in terrible, terrible shape due to 20 years of degeneration from 5 herniated discs.
he almost didn't make it...there was a point where the docs told us that he only had 15 minutes of life left.....unreal.
he recovered from what they call the "episode" miraculously....got healthy enough to go back to the OR to finish the rest of the surgery.....he made it through that...went to recover....then blood clots....and an infection.
22 days later....TODAY....he has been released and on his way to a physical rehab facility.....
he had some great vibes......so good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! vibes have been redistributed via this message board from me!
