The Red Lion in Greenwich Village or The Australian(near MSG) are your best bets.

Have just come back from the States and struggled to find any Super 14 rugger on tv, although I was confined to hotels.

I'd be pretty surprised if they showed southern hemisphere rugby on any station though. If you're really desperate, grab a few tinnies at the bottle shop and watch it online here: http://www.ustream.tv

    Go Stormers!

Fox is supposed to be coming out with Fox Soccer Plus, which will include Super 14 coverage, though I don't know how many parts of the States get it (I know here in Louisiana it's MIA).

It sucks - I miss my Crusaders :(

And Heineken Cup? Seriously? Go back to your room temperature ale and leave the real rugby to the Southern Hemisphere men
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

Thanks with all the help guys. :D

I'm pretty sure the Chiefs aren't gonna make finals so I could probably afford to miss that weekend!

    Bring on the Tri-Nations!

Wow... it's been a looooooooong time since I last heard that haha

Sorry about the Chiefs - I lived in Mooloo Country for a few years before moving to the States - I still have an old black/red/yellow jersey tucked away in my closet that my mates gave me when they got sick of me wearing red & black all the time (and to the non-rugby-fan Pearl Jam fans who wandered into this discussion by mistake... yes, Waikatos colours/colors are BRY...)
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - about an hour from New Orleans, and counting down the 15 days until Jazz Fest (will be the first time I've seen them since Auckland '98). Not close enough to help you find a sports bar showing rugby in New York or LA though. We don't get any rugby on our current cable package, though I've been told they're "working on it" - it's satellite only for now. Though last year we got the last few rounds plus the playoffs of the league, so I got to watch a bunch of games featuring damn near everyone but the Warriors...

I also saw them in Auckland in '98. What an amazing show! I remember walking out feeling like I was walking on clouds - may have had something to do with the j we had during YLB ;)

I also saw them in Wellington a couple of days earlier. It was quite surreal to see play a small crowd of about 10,000, then 2 days later play in front of something 45,000 and keep it feeling so intimate.

ANYONE HAVE THE BOOTS OF THESE 2 SHOWS?

Have fun at the Jazz Fest. The Crusaders are looking good this year as are the Warriors.

I don't even support the Crusaders but lets be serious here.

    That would be awesome!

But I would still have to say, even after living in London for 7 years, my $$$ is on the Crusaders.

Although, the gap between northern and southern hemisphere rugby is alot closer these days.

What about a Champions league of sorts the top 3 from H Cup VS top 3 of S14?

maybe but i have to say looking at the munster teams and the crusaders team theres not much, bar dan carter and richie mccaw that i would take ahead of munster players, and even then rog and david wallace are international standard players,
