Has anyone checked out the new Earl Greyhound album?
Had the chance to see them again as they came through SLC. They're opening for Ok Go (didn't stay for them
) and did an amazing job...if you haven't seen or heard of EGH I would recommend youtubing some of their performances.
The show was amazing, as usual, but short because they were one of two openers in the small venue they played at (~300 or so at The State Room for those familiar with SLC). Their newest album "Suspicious Package" was released that day and all of the songs played were from the new release with the exception of S.O.S. from their first album. Kamara (their bassist) tends to sing a lot more (or at least more lead) on the new album, which I prefer...her voice and passion are amazing...basically I'm in love when at their shows, haha. All three members were in the lobby after their set and I was fortunate enough to talk with all three of them...I approached Matt Whyte and Ricc Sheridan (lead and drummer) in the venue after the show and thanked them. Kamara Thomas was kind enough to approach me at the box office and ask my name and thank me for being at the show. I was thankful to talk to her for five minutes or so about the band and their tour. Definitely a fun and personable woman and a class act.

It is probably my favorite album of 2010...so far...
