opening act, your choice

If I were to hit the Powerball or Megamillions, I would bring PJ to town (Tulsa, OK) for a charity concert. But who would open? Would you choose an established artist or up and coming? I think it would be cool to try and find the next Death Cab or KOL. I would go with Ra Ra Riot, Gomez (again), Cold War Kids, MGMT or Wilco. If the price was right, I would try to bring in Beck. Vampire Weekend probably too expensive. I used to think I would have Willie Nelson open, thank you DMB for ruining that.

That was absolutely amazing seeing DW open for PJ at ACL. I'd love to see that again. I Love how Ed says "Dead Weather was so Fucking Bad ass... BAD ASS!"- Eddie Vedder. That was an awesome statement.

Seeing Dead weather Again in May and I am looking forward to it.

I'd like to see white stripes or Raconteurs open as well.

Are White stripes still together or is Meg done touring? (I assume that was why they are on Hiatus).

In an ideal world it would be TOTD, Soundgarden, PJ. Or an instrumental PJ set, Sonic Youth and PJ. Or even just Sonic Youth. :D I'm a big fan of Ben Harper but even I'm not that thrilled about seeing him 4 times in a week on this tour.
