I drive fast on a freeway at night
And I think I’m being followed
By strangers in their cars
Driving so fast, trying to avoid
Avoid being noticed
Why?
Who am I?
I’m no better than all the rest out there
But still, I digress
The night soon becomes the day
My new day
To start something new
With skies so blue
My eyes so blue
But is it true?
What if I then drove in reverse?
Would I be able to see the looks in their eyes
As they follow me?
No? Yes? No!
So I keep on driving forward
Driving fast, but not exceeding posted limits
Limits the government wants to put on me
To lay on me
As if I were a canvas for it to paint on
What color would I then be?
Blue
White &
Red
Once again, I’m in reverse
But still, they follow me
As the moon and stars remind me why
People usually die…
People usually die
Poverty stricken souls on the face of this earth
Mothers of children
Suffer through birth
A means to an end
Means that someday we’ll end
As the moon makes its way downtown, my friend

On road much harder

It doesn’t matter the flavor
Nor does it matter how pure
I’m constantly moving so
