And as of now, I owe $1,974.75........

I think I may have missed a decimal point somewhere......heheheheheh

    True story....

    I had a friend of mine, who had 5-6 jobs in one year. So at the end of the year, he put all his W2's in an envelope, mailed it to the IRS, and told them "You figure it out"...........

    True story....

    Whoever opened that envelope for the IRS must have had a GREAT sense of humor. They did his taxes, and mailed him his info. No penalty. They also sent him information on different ways of filing his taxes in the future.

    The ONLY reason I can come up with, as to why they did this for him? He was getting a refund, and he mailed them all his W2's. So basically they just put his info in the computer, and that was that. Had he OWED money to the IRS, I am sure he would have been in a WORLD OF SHIT! hehehehehe

    Now I only owe $168 to the state.....

    I can live with that.....

    I owed the corrupt state of Illinois $4. It was hard for me to give them anything...all those crooked bastards running this mess.

    i'm getting around $150 refund from NY state. unusual, we usually end up owing. however, b/c NY is having tough times, refunds will be slow coming. meanwhile, got my fed refund in under 10 days. go figure. then again, i'll take it. i can wait on the $150...but my fed refund was nice. :mrgreen:

    Since we moved, we no longer have to pay state taxes and I'm happy about it. :mrgreen:
