Could the holiday single actually be.....

The Philly shows? I mean no words on the boots, the holiday single is due, maybe the band decided 'fuck it', let's treat the fans to something mammoth!!!! I know the holiday single is always vinyl but one could only dream!

    The holiday single is probably coming in the next few weeks. I bet we get them before the May tour.

    I'm sooooooooooooooooooo with you on that one I've heard snippets from those shows and I would be phenomenally ecstatic if ANY of it was on our holiday single.

    it would be pretty lame to put songs from philly on the holiday single being bootlegs will be here at some point. i'd much rather have new songs, like last year which was awesome

    4 double (or triple?) vinyls of the Philly shows as a belated holiday gift in a nice box - now that would do the trick! :twisted:

    Well they did release Last Kiss & Solider Of Love on Christmas Single 1998. Later released as a Official Single June 8, 1999.

    I'm hoping it's not from the Official Bootleg series set's, Philly '09 included. A new song or My City in Ruins cover would be great to have on vinyl.

    I'm guessing the Christmas single will have "Whip it" from the Spectrum on it. I'm hoping that the flip side is the song that was cut from backspacer, that Tom Tomorrow alluded to. I hope that it is also available as a digital download so that we can add it back on to Backspacer.

    That would be cool, and only people who weren't able to go to the shows would be allowed to purchase it!
