waiting on a perfect storm

Though I’ve seen your face many times
Still no title’s known
And though you’ve uttered words to me
And your eyes an ocean’s shown
I’ve still yet to speak myself
And I’ll probably shy away
But I’m ready to heed the call
Should it ever come my way
My entire soul’s inside my
Mouth beating on my teeth
Trying to make its way outside
It stays tucked into its sheath.
Barely ever drawn
Rarely ever seen
Surely can be shared But So far
only in a dream
There’s dagger in my chest
But I’m yearning to bleed out
The contents its kept hidden
No one has ever found
Im growing tired of the blade
I need to pull that plug
And yet I cant dislodge it
I need it like a drug
lightning never visits
The same location twice
I wish it’d visit once for me
I’ve waited many nights
Though many storms have passed this way
None have seemed to rain on me
I just hope that this river
Will finally reach the sea
Still no title’s known
And though you’ve uttered words to me
And your eyes an ocean’s shown

And I’ll probably shy away
But I’m ready to heed the call

i enjoy this.
"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
Chief Joseph - Nez Perce
I love it!
me too
me too
me too
It is only music that can
open the soul's door
whether by dance or by song
only then can the soul truly soar
"what a long, strange trip it's been"
