Ed Pre-sets on upcoming tour

It would be super cool if Ed came out and played a song or two before Band of Horses on the upcoming tour. The main reason I say this is because some of these shows, especially the early ones, are in places he didnt come real close to on his solo tour. The closest shows to my neck of the woods were Nashville and Chicago (each about 6 hours away) and so I have never seen any of the Into the Wild songs, or plenty of the great covers Ed played on that tour.

So my point is, it won't make up for not getting to see an Ed solo show, but it would still be pretty nice if he comes out and gives us a song or two before the opening act.

    yeah, i've never seen one of these pre-sets. are they even very common? when was the last time one happened? any way of knowing in advance?

    He did one in Boston in 08... but aside from that I dont know that they've been too common since 06? I could be wrong though.

    It pays to get there early. The pre-sets are very cool!!!

    Well, you never know, he might not do one for a few shows, and then just do one all of the sudden, so I always get there early. Actually, he has done one the last three times I saw them. Toledo '04, Kitchner '05, Cleveland '06, and if you count him performing Slow Night with KOL at Lolla, then the last 4 times!
