Who has been lucky enough to experience a pre-set before a PJ show? Which year, venue, etc and what did you hear?
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12

    Got a ton of them on the 2006 tour. I think every show I went to he did one.

    as was no surrender in NJ in 06
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    Eddie, Mike, and the Rx - Search And Destroy (My favourite stooges song. Put the icing in the cake for that preset!)

    In terms of rare songs, I don't think this can be topped. (6/7 songs never played before at Pearl Jam shows I think)

    I was happier to see him do It Makes No Difference with MMJ though.

    Only saw presets during the '06 tour. My friend who's chronically late caused us to miss Ed's preset and Sonic Youth altogether in LA but I caught them both the following week in SF with another group of friends. Ed did Driftin'

    Boston 1 2008, was with some chums and we were sitting outside the arena on some steps eating or something then we heard a massive cheer and we were like that cant be for Ted Leo, then we ran and got in and Eddie played Throw Your Arms Around Me :D:D:D

    Thunder Bay in '05- Ed played "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away"

    Then later that night he came out with the Supersuckers and did "I Believe In Miracles" and he pulled up a dude out of the audience to sing it with him....and I it was a dude I know! How awesome was that Nate?!!

    Toronto 2009 -- already listed in a previous post...I can never remember the order! I won the lottery, front row centre that night, and I remember saying to my ticket buddy about 5 minutes beforehand, "Now if only Ed would do a pre-set!" And sure enough...we got the coolest pre-set in Pearl Jam history!

    Sadly, I was caught up in the chaos of Toronto that day and missed out. While making my way into the Molson Amp, I thought, that doesn't sound like Ted Leo... I really like it. Turned out, it was Mike McCready. When I got to my seats, the guy beside me explained what occurred. I nearly cried when I heard Eddie Vedder sang Needle and the Damage Done (one of, if not, my all-time favourite Neil Young song :( ).

    Note to Pearl Jam: I love when you play Toronto, but please don't play Toronto during the CNE. Thank you. :)
