It happened a little early
And something was unusual
What were they telling me?
Where did they get all these pictures… of me?
They’d gone insane
They’d gone crazy
Why they’d tampered with a passport in this way
Is fuckin beyond me
Why I saw stamped my childhood pictures all over it
Will one day make sense to me
Around me the place …was breakin down
Literally
There was a colleague
And refugees
They appeared to be cursing me
And as I flipped through the pages
I too started going crazy
Immediate family insisted
That I should eat
And I thought fuck me
I must sort this mess immediately
The poor place was breakin down
No glass beyond the curtains
And someone was coming to get me
…And those close to me
with the curtains flying in my face
I saw em clear
Pictures of me and us laughing, playing, caught unawares
Mocking me
Stamped definitively
by a madman with a heavy grin
So carefully
With such dexterity
He was trying to tell
A fuckin story
And I had the place breaking down upon me
Already forgetting about the plane
For soon I’ll be up in the air
Wouldn’t wanna remember
Remember I shall never rrrrrrr
Such a pretty song this is
But look how it played
So black in the breakin down place
Not in the time of night
But in devil’s light
Must I be there again?
What about the German
Beneath every face
Must I translate?
Can I not remember how to speak the language?
‘The fuck did it say?
That I could enter the place?
How would I get there?
By air?
In a plane?
With a fuckin photo album?
And my real face?
I gotta save
The breakin down place
Gotta look that refugee
In her face
And show her
That I also got teeth
No one fuckin curses me
‘l sit down with her
and eat
won’t let the place break
and I won’t go to hell
In whatever light that be
The pictures!
Think that’s what I’ll eat
And something was unusual
