"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama

when you told me 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'
i was thinkin 'death before dishonor'

The only real thing that makes me feel bad about thinking Nickelback are not collectively talented is that Matt Cameron has worked with Chad Kroger in the past and that they might be friends. Might. I don't know.

That little factoid has always bugged me. I don't know about them being friends (I doubt it) but I know he played drums on a track that Chad Kroeger and some other lameass singer did for a superhero movie soundtrack back around 10 years ago. I think it was the first Spiderman movie? Remember that cheesy ass song? I found it all very odd since Matt clearly didn't need the money, and his music is the total opposite of that song.

Furthermore, it's bothered me that Jerry Cantrell once took Nickelback out on tour with him, around that same time period, when Nickelback was new and Jerry was a solo artist... and I think Jerry had a song on that soundtrack too. Not only that, he had toured with Creed!!! What the hell was in the drinking water or in the air in Seattle back then?
