New TEN vinyl.....cheap.

OK. I am feeling good seeing I got my ITW vinyl, I thought I would share to my fellow 10c members about a cheap copy of TEN on vinyl (180gram) you can order. Before i get flogged by "we already know" it's not for everyone, aussie pj fans mite find this useful. Any way check out,

Ten on vinyl is about $21. Not bad, better then buying on ebay........

P.S. It says it is not in stock but when you click on the picture it states it is special order, I ordered mine 2 weeks ago.

    I have an extra copy of Ten and Vs that are both UK imports from when they were originally released if anyone is interested. The Vs. is kinda of weird because on the cover the sheep is just sitting there, his faces isn't pushed up against the fence. Both of these Lp's have been played only a couple of times since 1993 as they are both doubles.

    I would love to find out if this release of Ten was mastered from the original analogue master tapes. Although knowing SONY, I highly doubt it:(

    I would actually be interested in knowing that as well (and not only for Ten but for VS. and subsequent albums too).

    I went to a local music store not too long ago and somehow found an unopened Ten vinyl for 10 bucks.. I was psyched.

    It's been my experience that most 180 gram or 200 gram LP's that are re-releases are from the analog tapes and not digital remasters. Unless of course the original LP was a digital recording.

    A few years ago I bought a Rolling Stones "Let it Bleed" Lp, it was a re-release, when I got home and put it on the turntable it sounded like there were towels over my speakers. I looked at the very small print and sure enough, it was digital, the record store here in Austin wouldn't let me return it because it wasn't scratched or warped. My friends and I order stuff from here.
